Adidas bullish on India

Adidas India plans to open 100 exclusive Style Essential stores taking up the number from the present 30 by the end of this year. Style Essentials is the casual segment of Adidas. These exclusive stores present the collection in a trendy and inviting format by offering the consumer a highly stylized, young and fresh feel.

Adidas has also tied up with renowned designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil to create an exclusive range for the brand called S&N. The S&N line is positioned independently within select Adidas Style Essentials stores, giving S&N an exclusive creative positioning. The designer range gives that added impetus and push to Adidas and helps it to reaffirm its powerful brand image. At the same time its making consumers identify themselves more closely with the core attributes of the brand.

Adidas India is a sportswear brand that specializes in athletic and leisure activities. The range is performance-oriented and includes footwear and apparel that are sleek and stylish. The brand is youth-oriented and the products reflect their inclinations, aspirations and tastes. The track and field shoes especially have a host of innovative features like shock absorbers and cushions and insoles that go a long way in reducing the risk of pain and injury.
