The two day event is scheduled to take place on August 28th and 29th at Grand Hyatt in Goa.
With an estimated market size of Rs 8,700 crores and a CAGR of 14 per cent, the branded Indian intimate apparel segment in the medium to premium segment has a market share of 52 per cent. It is expected to grow at CAGR of 22 per cent in the next five years. No wonder that the event is attracting global attention.
By providing an exhibition expanse of 8,000 sq. ft. area at the Grand Hyatt, Galleria Intima 2012 will bring together varied components of the intimate apparel business. Exhibitor with business interests in lingerie, underwear, nightwear, sleepwear, loungewear, swimwear, beachwear, shape wear, stockings, and socks will showcase their products. It will provide participants with a fully equipped booth which will act as the medium of displaying their latest items and technology.
Receiving support from the Federation of Hosiery Manufacturers Association (FOHMA), a strong lobby of Indian hosiery industrialists, Galleria Intima 2012 bridges the gap between professionals of the global intimate wear trade. Having sprouted from a noble and visionary thought, a combination of innovative ventures, creative campaigns and well planned strategies, the Intimate Apparel Association of India (IAAI), a non-profit apex body aims to implement growth at an accelerated pace with this venture.
