Gini & Jony’s ‘Fashion Makeover’ for kids

This summer, India’s second-largest kids’ brand Gini & Jony is organising a fashion makeover activity with a cool hairdos, clothing, accessories and make-up. To make little girls and boys look more enchanting, Gini & Jony has come up with the concept of fashion makeovers where one can change their kids’ hair style, dresses, give them some make up and put on the accessories to make them look more fabulous and beautiful.

The makeovers will be organized on Saturdays and Sundays at the selected Gini & Jony stores where customers with their little ones will be get complete makeovers done. The company has invited parents to bring along their little ones to the store for a shoot. The stylists at the Gini & Jony store will suggest merchandise for the kids and groom and style them. The kids’ pictures would be taken using high quality creative photography. And then the whole fun experience would be uploaded on Gini & Jony’s Facebook page.

Gini & Jony has 262 exclusive brand outlets, most of which are being run through franchisee agreements. It closed 25 unviable stores last year. Founded by the Lakhani family, the retailer opened its first brand store in 1996 in Hyderabad. Of the Rs 33,000-crores Indian kids’ wear market Gini & Jony - along with Lilliput, Catmoss and a few others - occupy the mid-tier segment which accounts for more than 30 per cent of the Indian kids’ wear market, according to retail consultancy firm Technopak’s recent report.
