Jabong unveils 'Main Tera Hero' collection

Leading e-commerce portal Jabong has partnered with forthcoming Bollywood movie ‘Main Tera Hero’ to launch an exclusive

range inspired by the film’s star cast.

The fashion collection which includes apparels, accessories and footwear was showcased at an event held in Mumbai and will be exclusively available on Jabong.com. In the past, Jabong had retailed a series of Bollywood inspired collections on its website inspired by films like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Dhoom 3.

The association was announced with the Mein Tera Hero star cast – Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’cruz and Nargis Fakhri along with Praveen Sinha, Co-founder of Jabong. The wide range offers trendy T-shirts for men and women, elegant dresses for young girls, vibrant and stylish pants, chic footwear range, cool sunglasses, trendy watches and modern jewellery.

The etailer is planning to raise around 100 million dollars (over Rs 600 crores) through a fresh round of equity funding. The company is said to have already received 27.5 million dollars (over Rs 170 crores) from British development finance institution CDC. With the raised funds, the company wants to strengthen its supply chain infrastructure, as well as its technology platform.
