Koutons Retail, a leading retail company of India, reported net sales of Rs 269.38 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, as compared to Rs 228.95 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. It registered a growth of 17.65 per cent.
The profit after tax registered a growth of 18.62 per cent to reach Rs 15.80 crore as compared to Rs 13.32 crore in the third quarter of last year.
The net sales for nine months too went up, at Rs. 817.95 crore as compared to Rs 669.1 crore in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year. It registered a growth by 22.23 per cent.
