Lotto to grow store count

Lotto India will go from 59 to 100 mono brand stores this fiscal. Keeping up with this store expansion plans the brand recently opened its third outlet at Mauryalok Express, Patna, spread over 500 sq. ft. The Italian sports company which entered the country in 2005 has a licensing agreement extending up to 2025 with Sports Lifestyle for the production and distribution of Lotto brand products. Lotto stores are already operational in India in Delhi/NCR, UP, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu, Assam, Uttrakhand, Gujarat, Orissa, Bihar and Nepal. Apart from mono-brand stores, Lotto is present in more than 180 shop-in-shops outlets in Shoppers Stop, Reliance Footprints, Central, Pantaloons, Planet Sports, Ritu Wears, Ebony, Standard Max and Chunmun.

Lotto Sport was established in Italy in 1973. It began with sports shoes and that was followed by sports clothing. Starting from the late ’80s Lotto also created a leisurewear collection of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear and clothing. Eyewear, underwear, shirts and stationery with Lotto branding are also manufactured and distributed under license by third-party companies. Lotto distributes its products in more than 70 countries through independent sports stores, specialty chain stores and large stores with sports departments.
