Manish Arora gets world ranking

Leading Indian fashion designer Manish Arora , is making his presence felt in the global fashion world by featuring in H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) the Swedish clothing company’s style magazine Eye Mag’s summer edition. He is the only Indian designer to be featured in the magazine’s listing of the top eight designers around the world. These designers are expected to be the frontrunners in haute-couture and takeover the big fashion houses in the coming decade.
In Eye Mag’s fashion feature titled, “New Designers of the New Decade”, Manish Arora features prominently in the list of eight designers tipped as the favorite of the new decade. The others who come from various parts of the world include names like Joseph Altuzarra, Christopher Kane, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Louise Goldin, Alexander Wang and Damir Doma.

Today, his label is available in 84 stores worldwide, and for the last five years he has collaborated with sportswear giant Reebok to produce the successful 'Fish Fry' line.
