Miraaya Apparel & Trading, an Indian ethnic women’s wear brand is looking to expand its presence across India. Currently, Miraaya operates 15 outlets across the country. The company is looking at increasing the number of stores to 75 in the coming years.

Taking up a franchise of Miraaya requires an area of 300-500 sq. ft. along with an investment of Rs 12 to 15 lakh. Preferably, Miraaya would first target the Tier II and III cities for its expansion. Since its inception in 2010, Miraaya has established a niche clientele in the market and offers affordable ethnic women wear with a blend of traditional and contemporary designs. The product range includes tunics, kurtis, churidhars, salwars and Indo-western fashion wear apart from accessories like handbags, fashion jewellery, bracelets, bangles, necklace and earring sets.

The brand based out of the US and India initially concentrated e-selling before launching its own stores in the country. The focus was to promote organic farming and organic cotton used in the products. In its endeavour to promote green culture, the part of the proceeds from the sale would go towards promotion of eco-awareness program.
