The capital saw the magnificent launch of the German sports
lifestyle brand Puma’s new store in the busy commercial area of Connaught Place. The new store has many firsts to its credit. It is the largest store in the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region, and offers the high-end ‘Black Station’ international fashion range as well as apparel and footwear for children. This is the first time the kids’ range has found its way to a Puma store in India. The store builds on consumer shopping behavior and insights. The unique trial rooms are designed to be bigger and better compared to most standard stores. The merchandise mix caters to both ends of the consumer spectrum. Rajiv Mehta, MD, Puma Sports India, feels the bright Puma colors, interspersed with cool products available at the new store, will offer consumers a unique shopping experience.
Founded in 1948, the Puma Group, which owns the Puma, Cobra Golf and Tretorn brands, distributes its products in more than 120 countries. The brand started with sport and ended with fashion. The famous and glamorous Black label features collaborations with renowned designer labels such as Alexander McQueen, Yasuhiro Mihara and Sergio Rossi.
