The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced a strong and packed show schedule for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) with 75 designers who will showcase their collections on the ramp. Of these, 19 designers will exhibit their collections for the first time at the WIFW, Autumn/Winter 2010 event. Some of these designers are well-known names from the fashion industry who have showcased their collections in India and overseas. In addition to the designers, 10 new models will also walk the ramp of WIFW for the first time.

The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, autumn/winter 2010 event, is now in its 15th edition. The event will be held from March 24 to 28, 2010, at NSIC grounds, New Delhi.

WIFW autumn/winter 2010 continues to encourage and promote well-known and emerging designers who have added to the Indian fashion industry. Of the 19 new designers eight will be showcasing their collections on the runway, while 11 designers will display their creations at the exhibition stall.

Across Asia, WIFW has been recognized as the Asian fashion hub catering to the premier fashion trade with the largest number of designer and buyer participation. With each edition, the event is getting bigger; this season, a total of 43 shows will be organized. Such a strong line-up of designers only indicates WIFW?s growing popularity among its fashion stakeholders.
