Delhi’s swanky mall, DLF Emporio will host a bridal couture show on July 8. This six-day affair
is being helmed by ace designer Tarun Tahiliani. The theme is: ‘Artisanal -- Bringing the Artisan to the Fore’. It will be a blend of Indian finery and a layered western construct. This is the third season of the fashion extravaganza.
The event is scheduled across four cities starting from New Delhi on July 8, and then moving on to Mumbai where it takes place from July 21 to 22 at the Four Seasons Hotel. Hyderabad will be the next destination where the event will take place at the Park Hyderabad from August 6 to 7 followed by the finale at The Park in Kolkata on Aug 20 to 21.
The exposition will showcase India’s rich heritage styled in a contemporary manner. It will see a new fusion of Indian couture using international construction with the finest weaves, embroideries, jewels, stones and techniques. The exposition is designed to showcase Indian bridal couture and luxury in the finest of settings in each city. The first two editions met with great success due to the distinctive nature of its concept, the grandeur of its spaces and diverse stories. |
