Interestingly, the initiative has not been coordinated by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). It is supposed to be spearheaded by ex-supermodel Mehr Jessia, actor Arjun Rampal?s wife. Top designers like Rohit Bal, Raghavendra Rathore, Rohit Gandhi, Rahul Khanna, Manish Malhotra, Wendell Rodricks and Tarun Tahiliani have been approached. Each designer will put together a fashion show after a match, with celebrities, Page 3 regulars and sportspersons in attendance. These shows will be held at various after-show venues, including five star hotels in cities across the country. Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata are the primary venues on the list. All the shows will also have red carpet dos that will be telecast live. Meanwhile, the dates for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2010, has been finalized for March 24 to 28.
