Numero uno shirt brand Van Heusen has revealed its new
women’s collection, comprising of two colorful stories. The new designs carry cleaner lines, shapes and forms that breathe easy, making a day’s work smart and comfortable. The autumn/winter collection retains its traditional shades and yet adds ‘Teal Mustard and Navy and Green’ stories, for that winter zing.
The teal mustard and navy collection are defined by bold geometric prints, offset with ochre accents for this rather assertive color story. The collection interprets graphic lens, rearranges graphic units to form interesting shapes and patterns that simply make the wearer the centre of attention. Teal and mustard emerge as front-runners for popular, splashy colors, not just separate, but together as a bold mix in patterns and accessories. The end result is a woman who looks bolder and feels confident at a work place or a social gathering.
Van Heusen also goes to town celebrating green with this collection. Hues of green like emerald, jade, bejeweled, foliage, leaf and acid, this collection has at least one green for the bold and the beautiful women who aren’t afraid to say it with colors. Exuding both, a warming and cooling effect, the color green denotes balance, harmony, and stability. Using several shades of green for a fresh, breezy feeling, the green collection opts for that cool and restful feeling, symbolizing freshness, abundance and growth. According to Van Heusen, one of the two predominant colors this season is green which is vivid and lush when in solid, and spectacular when offset with prints in greys and blacks. An emerald and black check double-breasted jacket with pleated black pants or a graphic tent dress with a black trench talks about two key looks that’s bound to be a hit this season.
The shirts are priced Rs 795 onwards and trousers start from Rs 1,295 onwards. Suits are priced from Rs 4,995 onwards and dresses start from Rs 1,995 onwards. |
