Fashion label Satya by Satya Paul introduced its latest range of handbags and clutches. Available in a kaleidoscope of colors -- especially keeping the heat in mind, they range from classic black and indigo blue, to funky yellow, green and bright pinks. These bags look all the more attractive with big silver buckles and chains. ?A chic hand bag brightens up the outfit, it gives a classy statement to one?s persona and often makes up for even a dull or plain dress,? says Rajiv Grover, VP, Genesis Colors, makers of the brand. The clutches from Satya Paul are made from premium soft-to-touch fabrics. The colors include metallic copper and silver, navy blue, hot pinks, bright red and more.
Satya soon plans to launch a new line of tops and garments, including kurtis for women. Currently, it has attractive scarves and rich stoles in crepe, chiffon and georgette. These are available in various colors and enchanting prints. Satya Paul also offers a wide range of accessories for both men and women. They look to add more variants to their portfolio in the near future.
Satya Paul currently has 35 stores pan India and Satya Paul Accessories constitute six exclusive stores. ?Since last six months our main focus has been on opening exclusive stores in key markets across India. We are currently exploring the Punjab belt and cities like Pune and Hyderabad,? states Grover. Apart from India they have distribution agreements in the US and UK, which are their primary markets. They sell their own labels there but are not involved in the distribution process. They do not have their own stores there but have a dealer network. They export Satya Paul women?s wear to the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
Apart from having their retail stores, Satya Paul has also entered e-retailing. Satya Paul women?s wear is available online at shop.satyapaul.com. Grover explains, ?We often offer special discounts to customers who buy online. The Satya Paul page on Facebook has over 4,000 fans. It?s a very interactive page as fans get regular updates about new styles and offers. There are also contests specifically designed for Facebook fans only.?
For the next financial year Satya Paul is looking at a 25 per cent growth rate which would mean opening of another 7 to 10 boutiques.
