Luxury Connect has pioneered the area of luxury education in India by focusing on the weak spots in the complex management arena of Indian luxury segment. In collaboration with SDA Bocconi School of Management, Luxury Connect has successfully concluded Luxury Brand Management Program in India. The program formally endorsed and supported by Foundazione Altagama (a body promoting Italian Luxury Trade), received respondent group ranging from managers and entrepreneurs from fashion, hospitality, jewellery, media industry and surprisingly from indigenous Indian brass and cottage industry.

The program was delivered by Luana Carcano, Head of the Luxury Department, SDA Bocconi and Antonio Catalani, Professor of Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management, SDA Bocconi. The content was developed based on the global exposure of SDA and the Indian expertise of Luxury Connect. The course addressed various luxury business verticals with a broad focus and cross segment approach. Real time experiences were presented not only from fashion and accessories, jewellery and watches but also from hospitality and automotive industries. The program helps rationalize the business models that have achieved profitability whilst sustaining the luxury status of the brands.

Unique rules for managing luxury brands and implementing luxury strategy in specific reference to Indian luxury segment were emphasized upon. The program also gathered participants from renowned luxury firms like Tarun Tahilliani, Taj Hotels and Grand Hotels etc.

Luxury Connect in May, 2012 also conducted Luxury Customer Experience Management Program in a tie-up with ex LVMH Training Director, Jean Claude Roustant. The program had respondents from brands like Mercedes, Ferrari, Audi, Ethos Summit, Taj and Leela Group. Another session of this program is scheduled to take place in September, 2012. The company is developing special programs on hospitality, automobiles, real estate, watches and jewellery as a next offering to Luxury Trade.

Luxury Connect is founded by Abhay Gupta, the man behind entry of top brand names like Versace, Corneliani, Versace Home, Cadini etc in India along with co-founders Love Ranga and Rajat Bhattacharya.
