Satya Paul designs for Intel, opens store in Malaysia

Believing that fashion today is no longer limited to only clothes, Satya Paul, popularly known for its printed saris, neckties and scarves has ventured into accessories for laptops. In its recent association with Intel, the brand will design laptop accessories and bags for its newly launched ultrabooks.

As Rajiv Grover, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Colors points out Satya Paul is synonym with evocative designs, signature prints and timeless style, so they thought of designing a line of exclusive accessories Intel. He says Satya Paul would like to be associated with other brands where they get a chance to express themselves in fashionable way. He believes that today fashion is no longer only about clothes but expressing oneself through cars, computers, laptops, phones and I-pods. Before Intel, the brand had designed laptop bags for Samsung, HP and some others.

Genesis Colors is holding company for brands like Satya Paul, Satya Paul menswear and accessories, Tie Rack London and Bwitch. Satya Paul which was earlier creatively headed by Puneet Nanda is now under the hands of Jyoti Narula. The brand in future plans to design cover for a refrigerator company.

Meanwhile, expanding its mainstream business internationally, Satya Paul has launched its exclusively retail outlet in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. The new outlet is spread over 1,200 sq. ft. of. The outlet will offer saris in vibrant crepes, chiffons and georgettes with Satya Paul signature designs, tunics/kaftans, scarves, ties and more. The launch also included a fashion show choreographed by Anu Ahuja.
